Summary of the story
It’s far from the brain, but the fight scenes and sound are well-crafted and well-coordinated, so it delivers what it promises.
However, as I increasingly believe that movies, especially those with recognizable actors, are used as propaganda on the one hand and as a gauge of the public’s willingness to engage with the official narrative on the other, I would refuse to say that war with China is inevitable, and I believe the same is true of large-scale war in general. All humans are genetically similar, and the idea of “race” as the term is commonly applied to “different” people is a social misnomer that has no scientific evidence to support it, and there is plenty of scientific evidence to the contrary. In that sense, the debate is settled. We are all one and people should start seeing it that way, because it is scientifically correct. And the truth is, we can easily find solutions to all major problems through a shared vision of unity, and not by sending 18-25 year olds to war. The former is good sense and aesthetic, the latter is a illogical argument based on greed, shortsightedness, and indifference to the suffering of war that all humans experience, which history has shown us often number in the millions. Overall, this movie isn't great, but it's fun, and therefore serves its purpose as entertainment. War is bad and is best left to history and theatrical interpretation. As for the governments of the world, just start assuming that war is not an option and never will be again, and become reasonably reasonable and sort things out some other way. That concludes my review of the movie Havoc. Tom Hardy, I have no notes for you. Just keep shining, man.
